While every person's career path is unique and not necessarily a "ladder", the categorical distinction is an important one - employers expect a certain level of transferable capability and knowledge based on years of professional experience. Even if you're switching industries or only detailing your most recent positions, it's critical to represent the experience and background you have to offer.

A cover letter is a valuable tool you can use to say the things that don't necessarily belong on your resume - this is the place to mention that you're planning on relocating or that you've previously worked with someone at the company. It's also the place to make your case for why you're the perfect fit for a given position or how your work ethic matches the company culture. Other things you might want to address in your cover letter include accomplishments relevant to the target position, community involvement and activities, or personal characteristics. Sending a cover letter along with your resume greatly increases your chances of getting an interview - not only does it give you a chance to communicate directly with the employer, it shows the employer you're truly interested in the position. A thank you / follow-up letter is a terrific way to let the employer know that you thought the interview went really well! It shows strong follow-up skills and helps you stand out from the crowd. It's also a very polite way of reminding the employer that you're expecting a response. ($40)

Based on your request, your writer can create a customized letter to use for a specific job or can give you something more general that you'll be able to use for different positions as they come along. All letters are delivered via email in Microsoft Word (.doc) format.

   Rush ServiceRUSH SERVICE

Our writers work hard to get your completed order back to you as quickly as possible! The process normally takes 3-4 business days from the time all information is received, but if you order the rush service option ($50), we'll prioritize your order and get it back to you within 1-2 business days. You'll still get the same great quality product we always turn out, you'll just be bumped to the top of the queue.

   Printing and Mailing ServicePRINTING & MAILING SERVICE

Although the vast majority of resumes are submitted electronically, it's still important to have a supply of hard copies! You'll want to make sure to bring your resume with you on the interview - you might need a few copies to distribute to multiple interviewers. For the very active job-seeker, it's a good idea to always have a copy of your resume with you as you never know who you might meet! If you select this service, we'll print your approved resume on high-quality paper and send it directly to your home via USPS Priority Mail - you can choose to receive either 25 copies ($25) or 50 copies ($35).
